Enter the World of Mystery with ‘Castle’ - Television

The show ‘Castle’ is an American dramedy also based on genre police procedural. The story is about a novelist Richard Castle who is popular all over the world. He writes whodunit stories in which the lead character is killed. His fans like novels a lot that one the fans has started doing murders in the same manner as described in Richard’s novels. The police doubt the novelist. Richard reunites with police and accompanies Detective Kate. The series is created by Andrew W. Marlowe, who is also an executive producer along with Rob Bowman and Barry Schindel. It is debuted in year 2009 for the first time on ABC channel via ABC Studios, Beacon Pictures and Experimental Pictures. Four seasons are completed by the show and the fifth season is still airing. Each episode is of 43 minutes.

The lead role of Richard Castle is assigned to Nathan Fillion. He is a novelist and before first holograph published, he has to face nearly twenty rejections. He gets inspiration from his first rejection letter which is framed on the wall.  He kills the most famous character in his novels as he is no more fascinated in it. Stana Katic is playing the character of Detective Kate Beckett. She is a first class investigator and reason for which she opt this job is her mother’s murder case that has not been solved yet. The role of novelist’s 17 year old daughter, Alexis, is portrayed by Molly Quinn. She is very intelligent and matured girl. Alexis is quite close to her father.

The other characters are Detective Javier Esposito, Kevin Ryan, Dr. Lanie Parish, Captain Roy, Marthra Rodgers, Victoria Gates and many more. The actors are best suited in their characters. The series is filled with suspense and climax. This appeals attraction of the viewers and they can watch Castle online via internet as many facilities are available by various websites. The viewers can even download free Castle episodes. As police suspects the novelist, he joins the police team along with Kate. They investigate together on a same case and their views are always different. They have different styles for solving a mystery. Sometimes, they are trapped in troubles just because of their fights. The novelist wants to consider Kate Beckett as the prime character in his upcoming book series. Initially, Beckett is against this idea but soon agrees as she realises that this will help in finding the culprit. While working together, they start having feelings for each other but no one is ready to disclose about this. At the end of the show, they start with loving relationship. The series reaches its success. All the seasons are having elements of suspense. It is honoured by number of awards like PRISM Award, two TV Guide Magazine’s Fan Favourite Awards and People’s Choice Awards.
